A rare and very nice example of 18thC Portuguese Chippendale furniture comprising two side chairs, two arm chairs and a three piece open sofa; the heavily carved oak frames in a dark walnut stain bear all the famous Chippendale elements, large cartouches to the apron, ball and claw feet; carved back splats; (two chairs have slightly different carving to the cartouches);
