A beautifully figured mahogany three drawer chest of drawers of classic form; the fossil marble top above a frieze drawer and three lower drawers all having finely chased and gilded bronze door pulls, escutcheons; capitals, and top drawer mount; flanked by outset columns on a plinth base; French circa 1820;
